Maggie Gundersen

(she/her)

Maggie began practicing asana to strengthen her seated meditation practice. She quickly appreciated the benefits of yoga including spiritual contemplation, self-compassion, playful discovery of the body’s capacity, and community connection. Maggie’s sequencing is ever-evolving and she loves to find new ways to inspire and creatively challenge her students while encouraging embodiment and a personalized practice. Whether you're flying or falling, Maggie's there to create a safe and supportive environment and lead with laughter and a beginner’s mind. Off the mat Maggie embraces the joyful chaos of four kids at home, enjoys hyper-fixating on various creative pursuits, and works as an Occupational Therapist in the hospital setting with adults, kids, and the tiniest NICU babes. Maggie completed her 200-hour YTT at the beautiful Maui Yoga Shala in 2014 and has certificates in adapting yoga through Mind Body Solutions and an AcroYoga teaching certification
