5 Reasons to Practice Yoga Outside near La Crosse

The sun is out, everything is blooming and we’re ready to take our yoga outside! Practicing outside in nature has many benefits. Here are a few:

  1. Being outdoors can improve your health and well being by reducing stress and lowering blood pressure.

  2. Draw in inspiration from the life around you into your practice: the strength of the trees as they sway in the wind, the whimsy of the clouds, the humility of the landscape, the playfulness of little critters.

  3. Strengthen your mind-body connection by noticing the sounds of birds, the smell of fresh air, the feel of the breeze on your skin.

  4. Enhance your connection to the natural world through your exchange of breath.

  5. Literally greet the sun in your sun salutation!

From 5/18 and through 8/31, PALM + PINE will offer the following outdoor classes:

Tuesdays 8:30am w/ Amy at Halfway Creek Park (Book through Holmen Studio)

Thursdays 9-10am w/ Barb in Creekside (Book through La Crosse Studio)

Saturdays 8:15am at Bittersweet (Book through La Crosse Studio)

Second Sunday of every month from 10-11am at Trempealeau Hotel (Book through Holmen)

Regular class pricing applies.

In the event of bad weather, an email will be sent out 2 hours before class time alerting you to the location change. Class will then be held at the studio you booked through.
